The MK48 7.62 by Lambda Defence is a medium-weight AEG version of the legendary machine gun used by elite units like the US Navy SEALs and the 75th Ranger Regiment. The full steel construction with QPQ surface treatment offers both authentic looks and extreme durability for intense use. The MOD0 RIS handguard with upper RIS mount is ready for mounting accessories and features an integrated bipod for stable firing. The top RIS rail allows optics installation, while the fixed stock ensures solid support.
Inside this heavy-hitting replica lies an equally rugged M249 gearbox (brick-type like A&K / CA), fitted with steel gears, CNC nozzle, CNC piston head, a German-made piano spring, and a QSC aluminum spring guide. Ammunition is fed by an electric box magazine holding 5000 BBs, which activates automatically when the trigger is pulled. Its main advantage is direct bottom-feed into the hop-up chamber, eliminating the feed issues common to M249 or M60 platforms. While the chamber shape matches M249, the BB feed port is in a different position, meaning standard M249 hop-up upgrades won’t fit. However, the chamber is fully CNC-machined metal, with enough pressure for heavier BBs and a nubber arm compatible with Omega-type nubs. Recommended battery is 7.4V Li-Pol as there is no MOSFET in the trigger assembly. Wiring leads to the handguard, where a nunchuck or stick-type battery fits around the quick-change outer barrel.
